Logo Size Calculator — Minimum Dimensions for 3D Printing
Calculate minimum logo dimensions for clear reproduction on printed parts.
How We Calculate This
Logo Sizing Formulas
- Min line width = Nozzle diameter (cannot print finer than this)
- Min logo width = Nozzle diameter x Complexity multiplier
- Recommended depth = Layer height x 2 (raised) or x 3 (engraved)
- Detail ratio = Desired width / Min line width
The complexity multiplier accounts for how many fine features a logo contains. Simple block logos need fewer nozzle widths across than intricate logos with thin lines and small details.
