How We Calculate This

Logo Sizing Formulas

  • Min line width = Nozzle diameter (cannot print finer than this)
  • Min logo width = Nozzle diameter x Complexity multiplier
  • Recommended depth = Layer height x 2 (raised) or x 3 (engraved)
  • Detail ratio = Desired width / Min line width

The complexity multiplier accounts for how many fine features a logo contains. Simple block logos need fewer nozzle widths across than intricate logos with thin lines and small details.
